Ezio Costa Cordella

He is a Chilean lawyer and environmental defender with a Ph.D. in Law, a Master’s in Regulation from the London School of Economics, and a Law degree from the University of Chile. He serves as Executive Director of FIMA, Professor of Environmental Law, and Deputy Director of the Environmental Law Center at the University of Chile. He is also a Research Fellow at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Ezio has extensive experience in strategic litigation and public policy, focusing on ecological justice, biodiversity protection, and human rights. He actively contributes to national and international efforts on environmental governance and leads initiatives that integrate legal and scientific perspectives to promote the protection of human rights and nature.
