Doctor in International Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid. Graduate in Economics from the University of Valladolid. He is currently director of the Ecosocial area in FUHEM (FUHEM Ecosocial) and the journal Papeles de Relaciones Ecosociales y Cambio Global. Member of the editorial board of the book collection in “Inclusive Economics” (co-published with La Catarata). Member of the editorial board of the Revista de Economía Crítica and the board of directors of the Spanish Association of Critical Economics. He is a visiting professor at the University of Cuenca (Ecuador) and professor of the Master in Ecological Humanities, Sustainability and Ecosocial Transition (MHESTE) offered by the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The area of ​​research in which he has been working for years is focused on the relationships that exist between social well-being, quality of life and sustainability in the framework of capitalist globalization and the current ecosocial crisis.
