The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) is a public university located in Madrid. - The Faculty of Law (Department of Public Law and Legal Philosophy and Department of Political Science and International Relations). Spanish excellence in the field of studies in Law and Political Science, created in 1970, it soon became one of the most important law schools in Spain and one of the best in Europe. It offers 2 Undergraduate and 3 Double Degree Studies, 3 Official Master’s Degrees, 4 Unofficial Master’s Degrees, and 1 PhD program.
- The Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (Department of Philosophy). An excellence amongst the faculties that originally constituted the fundamental nucleus of UAM, the Faculty of Philosophy offers 4 Undergraduate and 3 Double Degree studies, 21 Official Master’s Degrees and 8 PhD programs pursuing transversal and multidisciplinary research objectives.
- The Faculty of Sciences (Department of Biology and Socio-Ecosystems Laboratory). Hosting around 5000 students, the Faculty of Sciences offers 10 Undergraduate Degree Studies, 25 Official Master’s Degrees (one on Biodiversity and one on Ecology) and 15 PhD programs (one of them on Ecology). It is a leading institution in the field of ecology, and particularly in the field of socio-ecosystems.
